Preparing your property for sale is an important step for every seller. Paula and Team PP believe that making the right small investment into your property will result in seeing a higher sale price. It’s critical however to know what preparations will create a quicker sale, better return or better first impression, and what won’t make much difference at all.

When partnering with Team PP, we will assess your property and recommend to you any investments, updates or changes that will improve your overall sales result. To make the process easier, we can arrange for all agreed pre-sale improvements (and marketing costs) to be covered until settlement, helping to reduce upfront expenses for you as the seller (conditions apply).

Decluttering and cleaning thoroughly will allow a buyer to see that they can ‘step right in’ post settlement. Having clutter, personal items or giving the idea a buyer will need to spend their first week post sale doing a spring clean will get in the way of a buyer’s connection with the property and a simple declutter means the spaces will feel larger and more open.

Making simple repairs and fixing small wear and tear items that are a big distraction to buyers can lead to a better result. It can also help with negotiations as buyers won’t be trying to deduct for small maintenance items.
